Lindsey attended college at University of Evansville where she graduated summa cum laude in 2000. She graduated from law school from Southern Illinois University magna cum laude in 2003.

Lindsey is admitted to practice in the State of Illinois and before the Southern District of Illinois. Lindsey is also a court-approved guardian ad litem. Lindsey is also a court-approved family law mediator for the second judicial circuit. She has also received training to mediate general civil matters.

Lindsey is a member of the Illinois State Bar Association and the Lawrence County Bar Association.

Lindsey maintains a general civil practice that includes trials, corporation law, real estate, probate and estate planning, family law, creditor bankruptcy, collections, and guardianship.
